Dr. Ralf Mueller
Ralf Mueller,  Ph.D.

Dr. Ralf Mueller is the Director of Chemistry of Alchem Laboratories Corporation. He obtained his Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Freiburg, Germany, where he worked on the synthesis of spiro compounds by intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. Dr. Mueller then joined the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, as a Postdoctoral Associate and contributed significantly to the syntheses of the "Hypusine reagent" and a variety of hydroxylated polyamine analogs. He was employed by Alchem Laboratories in 2000 as a Senior Research Scientist and promoted to Group Leader, Synthetic Chemistry later that year.  As a result of his outstanding contributions as a group leader, he was promoted to Associate Director of Chemistry in 2004 and most recently to Director of Chemistry in 2006.
