Emil Pop, Ph.D. |
Dr. Emil Pop is the Founder, President & CEO
of Alchem Laboratories Corporation. Dr. Pop has expertise in organic,
pharmaceutical, medicinal, and quantum chemistry with specialization in prodrugs, chemical
drug delivery systems, cannabinoids, steroids and antibiotics. He was previously the
Senior Director of Chemistry at Pharmos Corporation, Alachua, FL, Director of
Chemistry and Associate Director for Chemical Development at Pharmatec, Inc. Dr. Pop
is a courtesy Professor at the Center for Drug Discovery, College of Pharmacy, University
of Florida and an inaugural member of the Florida Center for Heterocyclic Compounds
Advisory Board. In addition he is a member and fellow of numerous professional
societies and is cited in many biographical dictionaries and Who's Whos. The author
of 131 publications, 131 presentations and 23 patents, Dr. Pop is the recipient of
the Romanian Academy Award for Chemistry and has been guest editor and invited
speaker in international congresses and symposiums. |
